BAN STREET CAROLING. The Ear heard a school principal said that banning of caroling street kids must be strictly imposed by authorities. He said, "For their own safety ra man sad na." This after he saw a group of kids as young as five years old darting from vehicle to vehicle, unmindful of the danger they face. He added, "Kuyaw kaayo maligsan ning mga bataa kay bisan Go signal na, magsige gihapon og dagan-dagan tunga sa dalan."
WHAT WILL THEY THINK? This school principal likewise raised the question of whether street kids will be allowed to roam around during the Asean Summit. He observed that these scruffy-looking caroling street kids usually knock on car windows at street intersections. "What will our Asean visitors think kung makakita sila aning mga bataa nga mag-caroling sa kadalanan?"
