WRONG SPELLING. A nurse of more than 10 years was also heard complaining about her renewed professional license. When she got her renewed license, her name was misspelled. She told The Ear, "These printing errors are costing us and the government lots of money kay mag process na sad mi para pa reprint sa lisensiya. Pa picture na sad. Mag fill out na sab mig forms. And since licenses have to be printed in Manila, magbayad pa ang gobyerno og shipping cost ug cost sa reprinting. The person/s responsible for encoding these licenses must be fired or at least penalized."

WRONG EXPIRATION DATE. The Ear heard many complaints from professionals who renewed their licenses at the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). One teacher of a private school who has been teaching for over 30 years said that she renewed her teacher's license this year, 2006. Ga tanga lang gyud ang ga encode aning mga lisensiya."
