LEAVING TRASH. An informer told The Ear that she saw two public school teachers last week leave their trash at a park where they had their snacks. The informer said that these two teachers, seen wearing their school uniforms, were seen eating food bought from a popular fastfood joint. What shocked the Ear informer was that after they had their fill, they just left the food wrappers, empty plastic bags and drink containers where they sat. The Ear informer said, "Gibilin ra nila ang mga putos sa ilang gikaon sa lingkoranan unya dayong lakaw. And to think the garbage bin was only two meters away."
BAD EXAMPLE. The Ear informer opined that public school teachers need to set a good example. She said, "Teachers should practice what they preach." She added that if this is the kind of attitude of many public school teachers, then it's no wonder that the general public do not care for their environment. She said, "Kay kining klaseng mga maestra dili man concerned sa ilang environment, ang produkto ani nila, mao sab. So dili na kita mahibung kung daghang mga tawo nga pataka lag labay sa ilang basura. Wala siguro sila gitudluan sa eskuwelahan."
