USELESS? The Ear heard a media person comment that inspection of bags by security guards at the entrance of malls is a useless endeavor. She said the way the security guards are inspecting the bags, even a person with a bomb can easily gain entrance to the mall.
NOT LOOKING. She narrated to The Ear that last week she and her sister went to an uptown mall. Her sister was carrying a bag containing a webcam, charger and other computer gadgets and wires. She said, "Kung tan-awon nimo ang bag, puno og nagkalain-laing wires and devices. Naay makakita ato, magduda gyud." But she told The Ear that the security guard just took a quick glance inside her bag and let her through. "Gi-ablihan niya iyang bag pero ang guard busy man og tabi sa laing guard, wala gitaro'g inspect. Sus kung terorista pa to, nakalusot na unta. Useless ang inspection of bags kung dili magtinarong og inspect ang security guards."
