There are good Koreans, too

GOOD KOREANS. If there are bad Koreans (some of whom found their way into this column) there are also good Koreans. Like those Korean couple who bought lunch for a mother and child begging in front of a restaurant on Gorordo Ave. "Ilang gi-orderan og take-out food for lunch ang makililimos nga inahan ug anak," an Ear informer said.
LAW BROKEN. When told by a Pinoy companion that there is a law in this country that penalizes begging and giving to beggars, one of the two Koreans (they were husband and wife) said in impeccable English: "Oh, really? But isn't that tantamount to violating God's law which says 'Feed the hungry?'" The couple happened to be members of a Korean protestant church.
