WISH KO LANG. Last Saturday, Aboitiz Corporation celebrated their 85th anniversary and invited the members of the media for a Christmas party. Members of tv, radio and print media enjoyed the numerous gifts and prizes given away. One of the gifts given was an expensive watch. A beat reporter who had his watch robbed three years ago went all teary-eyed when he received his watch. He said, "Dugay na kaayo ko nangandoy nga maka-relo, sukad na hold-up ko ug gikuha akong watch. Salamat kay na grant sa Aboitiz akong wish."
ABUNDANT HARVEST. At the party, the guests indulged in the abundance of food and prizes. The partygoers were then given baskets and were asked to fill them with the variety of fruits arranged around the room, even along the stairs. One reporter was heard saying, "Alegre ning gimmick nila sa mga baskets. Mora ta'g ga harvest o ga fruit-picking." At the end of the event, the guests were seen staggering with their "harvest" on their way out the door.
