FAKE ITEMS PEDDLED. Fake or imitation signature items like sunglasses, watches, baseball caps, etc. are being peddled in some private firms and even in some government offices by some persons claiming to be from an Asean country. The products carry popular/expensive brands but are sold only in the hundreds of pesos. An Ear informer says one key government official wears an expensive watch or a copy of it which he bought for only P500.
CARTOGRAPHIC SKETCH. Our police authorities are quick to produce what they call cartographic sketches of criminal suspects. "Unsa ka accurate kining ilang sketches?" a ship or marine engineer asked The Ear. He also said there was also one cartographic sketch of a murder suspect that did not resemble the face of the murderer who was arrested sometime later.
