GMA fans are cheering 'Gloria re-shine!'

While the handful of anti-GMA Pinoys were hollering "Gloria resign!" outside of the UN headquarters, many of those who watched her on tv as she presided over the UN Security Council Summit were cheering "Gloria re-shine!"
Ate Glo handled her job well as she presided over the recent three-day UN Security Council Summit attended by some 170 heads of state. If the opposition was right in saying that Ate Glo cheated in the election, that, I dare say, was a blessing for the Philippines. What if she did not cheat, as the opposite insists she did?
Any second-year high school dropout who couldn't even handle a local presscon would've a hard time duplicating, let alone surpassing, Ate Glo's performance at the UNSC Summit. At least, that's what my friend Teddy Padron and I think. We could be wrong but we stand on our wrongdoing. Tee-hee!
Former first lady Imelda Marcos' expensive jewelry are being auctioned by the government. And Imelda is complaining against this rematado sale!
The issue about the late Ferdinand Marcos being buried in the Libingan ng mga Bayani is back on the front pages. I thought this issue has long been dead.
The body of the late dictator is kept in a refrigerated glass case, Santo Entiero-like. I think it's the only refrigerator of its kind in the country.
It says here that terrorism worldwide was thoroughly discussed in the United Nations. Names of terror groups have been mentioned. They have forgotten to include one group that has been terrorizing many parts of Asia in recent months, including the Philippines, Singapore and China. I refer to the mosquito terror network that has brought dengue to the above mentioned countries.
The celebration of Cebu Press Freedom Week 2005 enters its second day today. Main highlights include a forum at 9 a.m. on "Covering Entertainment" with Ricky Lo of The Philippine STAR and Salve Asia of Pilipino Star Ngayon as speakers.
