Letter to the Editor - Christian Nationalist Union Visayas-wide leaders' manifesto on the crisis of the nation

We, the delegates of Christian Nationalist Union (CNU), after due reflections of the pressing national crisis and after having undergone intelligent discussions, discerning thereat, we found that this government has lost the moral ascendancy to govern, absence of credibility, lost of capacity to inspire the morale of the people, and failed to provide avenues, access and opportunities for the welfare of the people;

That the reasons of said failure are the following facts and considerations:

1. Her stewardship in governance is weak in character by assuming into office a presidency held dubious, questionable, scandalous and highly doubtful by sectors of society as especially revealed by scandalous wiretapping aired in the Halls of the House of Representative, betraying the public trust, losing the public confidence, losing the credibility, mismanaging the government, being unresponsive to the needs and welfare of the people, with her government littered with graft and corruption;

2.

The situation now creates divisions in the society, animosity that is conducive to anarchy, chaos, civil war and dismemberment;

3.

The Armed Forces of the Philippines as the protector of the people is constitutionally bound to secure the order of society, national sovereignty, national territory and the life and property of the citizens;

That the delegates resolved that real change shall be done not by mere change of stewards in governance but change of system and structures in governance.

That the delegates resolved furthermore that a transition revolutionary government should be installed to effect total change in governance.

That transition government should be truly represented by three major regions of the country with three representatives from Luzon, three representatives from the Visayas and three representatives from Mindanao.
