Fernando, 75

MANILA, Philippines - Former NGAP director Atty. Antonio “Tony” Fernando died Wednesday of internal bleeding he suffered on a bad fall in his residence Wednesday. He was 75.

He was survived by his wife Grace and sons Dr. Graciauex, Antonio Jr., Jorge, Joseph, Warren and daughters in law and grandchildren.

A practicing lawyer and long time member of Villamor and Intramuros golf clubs, Fernando served as team captain/team manager of several national teams.

He was team captain of the RP squad that won the 1990 Putra Cup in Singapore and runner-up in the Asian Games in China in the same year.

His remains lie in state at Our Lady of Beautiful Love Church, Washington St., Merville Subdivision, Paranaque. Interment is tomorrow afternoon at the Manila Memorial Park.
