Star scribe's grandma, 88

MANILA, Philippines - Ceferina “Pering” Beltran Racines, grandmother of The Philippine STAR sportswriter Nelson Beltran, passed away Wednesday at 88.

Her remains lie in state at the family residence on Santos Street, Sitio Bisalao, Bagbaguin, Valenzuela.

Interment will be Sunday at the Himlayang Pilipino in Tandang Sora, Quezon City.
