'Women of Style and Substance' dazzle anew

MANILA, Philippines - People Asia magazine presents its annual “Women of Style and Substance 2009” at a glamour-filled show hosted by STAR columnist RJ Ledesma at the EDSA Shangri-La Manila’s Garden Ballroom today, Sept. 22.

The women in the prestigious roster are the epitome of beauty, grace under pressure, intelligence and strength. They were chosen not only because of their popularity but also because of their influence. Each lady is a commanding force in her field, from media, government and business to design and philanthropy. Each proves that not only can she excel in a competitive field but do it with elegance and style.

Among People Asia’s “Women of Style and Substance” are Sen. Loren Legarda, ABS-CBN Foundation Inc.’s Gina Lopez, the silently strong and steady Jinkee Pacquiao, wife of the world’s greatest pound-for-pound boxer Manny Pacquiao, beautiful and accomplished hotelier Monique Trinidad-Toda and working heiress Camille Villar. The five are on the cover of this month’s issue of People Asia.
