KANGAROO VALLEY, Australia — A resident of Budong describes the moments that flames approached his farm in Australia on Saturday.
"Basically, yesterday I went to look at it, it was about 15 kilometres out, it was down to the river. I thought, right, better get back here, get the sprinklers going, get things happening. It wouldn't been half an hour later, it was here. This roar, the roar was unbelievable, flames about 60 foot high, you could see they went over the tops of the trees," Dave Bright, Budong resident said.
"And next thing, it come from this way, burning right through, big explosions everywhere because of everything down there, it was just pretty full on intense," he also said.
