WATCH: Cab driver allegedly robbed by Carl Arnaiz explains what happened
MANILA, Philippines – A taxi driver narrated how he was allegedly robbed in Caloocan by a 19-year-old student now believed to have been a victim of police brutality.
Marleo Bagcal said he was hailed by Carl Angelo Arnaiz in Navotas and told to bring him to Fifth Avenue in Caloocan City during the wee hours of August 17.
Bagcal said Arnaiz was uneasy when they were on their way to Caloocan.
The teenager, allegedly armed with a .38-cal gun, suddenly declared a holdup. He said Arnaiz hit him on the head after taking his wallet, which contained P450.

Bagcal said he is thankful that there were police officers in the area who helped him chase Arnaiz after the robbery.
The chase ended in Arnaiz's death.
"Pinutukan daw sila... Pinutukan sila...Eh, siyempre, anong reaksyon ng mga pulis natin? Nakipag-barilan na rin. Patay," Bagcal narrated.
But forensic analysis by the Public Attorney’s Office suggests that Arnaiz was killed “summary execution style” based on gunshot wounds and marks on his body.
"Malalalim 'yung gasgas niya, mukhang kinaladkad ito at mukhang binugbog. Magang-maga 'yung kanyang mga mata. Meron din kami nakitang marka na siya ay pinosasan. Maraming marka ng posas," Dr. Erwin Erfe, chief of the PAO forensic laboratory services, said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.
The Department of Justice has already tapped National Bureau of Investigation to look into the death of Arnaiz.
