Alden Richards on popularity: Tuloy-tuloy lang ang pagpapakababa
MANILA, Philippines - "Nakakakilabot po siya, e."
Alden Richards said this about the sudden popularity he has achieved after the success of his love team with fellow "Eat Bulaga" mainstay Maine Mendoza.
During his press launch as the newest endorser of skin whitening capsule Snow Caps recently, Alden said he still feels overwhelmed over the success of AlDub and "Eat Bulaga's" Kalyeserye.

But the GMA-7 star added that he doesn't let it get to him, especially when netizens and the entertainment press give him titles or monickers to describe his recent fame.
"Titles lang po 'yun e. At the end of the day, paano mo ba madedefend yung binabansag sa iyo ng tao," he said.
Alden added: "How would you be as a person. That's what counts. It's not the title. It's what kind of person you are at the end of the day."
The 23-year-old actor said: "Tuloy-tuloy lang po yung pagpapakababa. Kasi the more na inaangat ka ng tao, all the more na kailangan yung paa mo nasa lupa lang."
