MANILA, Philippines — President Benigno Aquino III on Monday blamed the Special Action Force commander Getulio Nepeñas for the botched mission last January 29 in Mamasapano, Maguindanao.

Answering questions from Christian leaders at the Malacañan Palace, Aquino said he was given the wrong information on the anti-terror police operation, "Oplan Exodus," that led to the killing of 44 of the elite troopers.

"Talaga pong may lack of professionalism po e. Kung ako ang may kasalanan dito, bakit ko aakuin lahat?" Aquino said.
