Manila, Philippines — A decision is expected soon on the case filed by the Philippines against China before the Hague-based Permanent Court of Arbitration, contesting the latter’s nine-dash line claim over the disputed waters.

There is no enforcement mechanism for the ruling and experts said any impact will depend on how the international community reacts.
