MANILA, Philippines - A P1-million contract to rid the Supreme Court (SC) buildings on Padre Faura in Manila of pests and termites is up for bidding.
The contract, inclusive of value-added tax, will be for two years from May 2015 to April 2017.
The SC opened yesterday the submission of bidding documents by interested firms.
On March 17, the SC will hold a pre-bid conference for those that have submitted the necessary documents.
The deadline for submission of bids is on March 31.
In an announcement published in The STAR yesterday, the SC opened the bidding for procurement of pest and termite control services.
“The Supreme Court reserves the right to reject any bid, to annul the bidding process and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders,” read the announcement.
Deputy Court Administrator Thelma Bahia, SC Bids and Awards Committee for Goods and Services, signed the announcement.
