MANILA, Philippines - The incoming Year of the Wood Sheep in the Chinese lunar calendar is auspicious, according to international Feng Shui master Marites Allen.
The Year of the Wood Sheep begins on Feb. 19, 2015 and ends on Feb. 7, 2017.
"2015 is a positive chart. We have all the presence of the five elements," Allen said in an interview with ABS-CBN.
The five natural elements that the Feng Shui expert were referring to were wood, earth, water, fire and metal.
According to Allen, the presence of the five elements for 2015 bring balance, unlike the previous year wherein two elements were missing.
"It's very different from 2014 when there were two missing elements so I'm very happy to say that 2015 has a complete and balance of elements," Allen said.
The Feng Shui expert added that "secret friends" are also present in the astrology chart, which are the tiger-boar and horse-sheep.
"It's very unusual na meron tayong chart na ganyan," Allen explained, adding that people would become more conciliatory because of this.
For the business sector, Allen predicted that wood elements such as the fashion, plantation, agriculture and textiles would be very strong.
Allen added that Ebola would still be a health threat, as well as ay disease involving the stomach and ulcer.
The sheep is the eighth animal in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese lunar calendar. For the Chinese, the number eight is believed to be a symbol of auspicious fortune.
