MANILA, Philippines — Three people died in separate vehicular accidents that occurred in Quezon and Pampanga yesterday morning.

Two of the fatalities were identified as Ed, 41, and Jas, 16, who died after their motorcycle was hit by a van in San Andres, Quezon.

A teacher was injured in the incident that occurred in Barangay Cambuga. She was rushed to the Bondoc Peninsula District Hospital in Catanauan for treatment.

Reports said the van tried to overtake, causing it to hit the motorcycle.

Meanwhile, in Pampanga, Silverio Miñoza, 53, was walking along MacArthur Highway when he was hit by a car, according to Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, Central Luzon police director.

The car sped away after the incident.

Probers have yet to review video footage of a closed-circuit television camera installed in the area for possible identification of the car and its driver.
