No classes, work in San Juan tomorrow

Mark Ernest Villeza - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — Work and classes in San Juan will be suspended on Thursday in line with the observance of “Araw ng San Juan,” Mayor Francis Zamora announced yesterday.

According to Zamora, the suspension covers all levels in public and private schools as well as government and private offices in the city.

He said the declaration was based on Republic Act 7669, marking the anniversary of San Juan’s establishment as an independent municipality through Philippine Commission Act 1625.
