BARMM employees to receive P10,000 Ramadan bonus

 COTABATO CITY, Philippines — Thousands of Muslim and Christian employees in ministries and support agencies under the Bangsamoro government would receive P10,000 as Ramadan bonus, regional officials announced yesterday.

Abdulrauf Abdul Macacua, newly appointed Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao chief minister, said he had signed an executive order for the release of the bonus to all employees of the BARMM regional government.

 Macacua and other ranking BARMM officials separately told reporters yesterday that contractual and job order personnel are also entitled to the bonus.

 Many employees of different BARMM ministries and support agencies had posted on Facebook their appreciation of Macacua’s order, with many saying they would have something to spend for the Eid’l Fitr celebration, which marks the end of the month-long fasting season among Muslims.
