Water interruptions set in Las Piñas, Cavite

MANILA, Philippines — Customers of Maynilad Water Services Inc. in Las Piñas and portions of Cavite will experience water service interruption from 2 p.m. on March 25 to 6 a.m. the next day.
Maynilad said it would conduct essential maintenance at its PAGCOR Pumping Station and Reservoir.
“During this period, the PAGCOR PSR will operate at a limited capacity, which will affect water service in some areas,” Maynilad said.
The water concessionaire will also decommission a 200-millimeter air valve along the Cavitex Expressway near the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange, as part of ongoing network upgrades.
The affected areas are Las Piñas and parts of Bacoor, Cavite City, Kawit, Imus, Noveleta and Rosario in Cavite, Maynilad said.
The company advised affected customers to store enough water before the scheduled maintenance.
“Water supply will be restored as soon as the work is completed,” Maynilad said.
According to Maynilad, mobile water tankers will be on standby to deliver potable water to affected residents.
Maynilad apologized to the public for the inconvenience to be caused by the water service interruption.
