BOC seizes P53 million vape products

MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Customs (BOC) confiscated unregistered vape products valued at P53 million at the Port of Manila recently.
Customs Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio and Deputy Commissioner for Enforcement Group Teddy Sandy Raval led the confiscation of 112,000 vape products.
The shipment originated from China and arrived at the Manila port in January.
The vape products were reportedly misdeclared as plastic insulation, the BOC said.
Rubio warned smugglers against attempting to bring contraband into the country.
