1,828 police personnel promoted in Calabarzon

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines  – A total of 1,828 police personnel in Calabarzon were among the 33,143 officers promoted to higher ranks nationwide.

Lt. Col. Chitadel Gaoiran, Philippine National Police-Calabarzon spokesperson, said the officers – 394 in Cavite, 262 in Laguna, 359 in Batangas, 274 in Rizal and 258 in Quezon – had their rank raised a step higher as part of the PNP regular promotion cycle for 2024.

Also promoted were 135 PNP regional headquarters personnel and 147 officers of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion.

Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas, Calabarzon police director, stressed the importance of loyalty, dedication, professionalism and public service as the officers take on their new roles.

“This promotion is not just a recognition of your accomplishments but also a challenge to uphold the highest standards of service and discipline. Your new rank signifies not only your personal success but also your strengthened commitment to our mission of ensuring peace and security in the Calabarzon,” Lucas said.
