MANILA, Philippines — The University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT) for academic year 2026-2027 is scheduled from Aug. 2 to 3.
UP’s Office of Admissions said Grade 11 students during the current school year may start applying for UPCAT from March 3 to 31.
Submissions of grades will be accepted from Aug. 4 to 25 or after taking the UPCAT.
UP advised examinees to bring their valid school identification card or any government-issued ID during the test.
The UPCAT consists of four subtests: Language Proficiency (English and Filipino), Science, Mathematics and Reading Comprehension (English and Filipino).
The applicants are selected based on their combined UPCAT scores and composite of final grades from Grades 8 to 11.
UP said the university management also considers socioeconomic and geographic factors in its admission process to implement the policy of democratic access.
UP offers almost 200 undergraduate programs in its eight constituent universities in Diliman, Manila, Baguio, Los Baños, Visayas, Cebu, Mindanao and the Open University as well as one autonomous college in Tacloban City.
