Stuck musang rescued in Pangasinan

NATIVIDAD, Pangasinan, Philippines — A farmer turned over an Asian Palm Civet or musang to authorities on Saturday, the Police Regional Office 1 reported.

According to the report, a 34-year-old farmer was collecting dry wood at a forested area in Barangay San Macario Norte when he found the palm civet with two legs stuck in vines.

The farmer rescued the animal and brought it to the San Natividad police station for documentation and disposition.
