103 houses razed in Cotabato

COTABATO CITY, Philippines — Two fire incidents in a span of five hours gutted 103 houses here on Friday.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection and the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, the first incident destroyed about 100 houses at the Tukananes area in Barangay Poblacion 7.

Three more houses in the neighboring Barangay Rosary Heights 10 were razed five hours later.

The city social welfare office distributed relief supplies to the fire victims who are staying at evacuation sites.
