MANILA, Philippines — Some roads in Pasay City, including parts of EDSA and Roxas Boulevard, would be closed to vehicles for the celebration of the feast of Sto. Niño or the Child Jesus today.

In an advisory, the Pasay City Public Information Office said the northbound portion of FB Harrison and Jalandoni Streets would be closed until 9 p.m. today “to give way for the Sto. Niño Grand Procession.”

Derham Park, FB Harrison, EDSA, Roxas Boulevard, Buendia Avenue and Jalandoni Street will also be closed to vehicles.

The city government said motorists going to Manila or Baclaran in Parañaque City could use Diokno Boulevard, Taft Avenue as well as Vicente Sotto, Bukaneg and P. Ocampo Streets.

It also reminded motorists and commuters to plan their trips ahead to avoid getting stranded and stuck in heavy traffic.
