DOLE announces job fair in Pasay City

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) will hold a two-day job fair offering close to 5,000 employment opportunities in various sectors.

The event, to be held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City on Jan. 28 to 29, seeks to assist displaced workers from the Internet Gaming Licensees sector by connecting them with employers from various industries.

DOLE said 126 local employers and six overseas companies have confirmed their participation in the fair to offer jobs in the finance, shipping and logistics, food and beverage, retail and Business Process Outsourcing sectors.

Applicants are advised to bring their updated resume, ballpen, valid IDs and pre-employment application requirements.

The DOLE-National Capital Region will set up a one-stop-shop to assist jobseekers who haven’t completed their requirements.
