Police seize over P500,000 shabu in Taguig City

MANILA, Philippines — Two men who attempted to shoot two police officers on patrol in Barangay Sta. Ana in Taguig City were arrested on Friday.

The arrest, according to the Southern Police District (SPD), also lead to the seizure of P564,000 worth of shabu from alias Jake and alias Alex.

In its report, the SPD said Jake was transacting with Alex for the sale of 83 grams of shabu when he saw the patrolling officers. Jake allegedly pulled out a gun and shoot at the officers.

The two will be charged for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and the election gun ban.
