Lone bettor wins P10.3 million lotto 6/42 prize

MANILA, Philippines — A lone bettor in Baao, Camarines Sur won the P10.3 million jackpot of the Lotto 6/42 draw on Saturday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes (PCSO) Office said.

Melquiades Robles, PCSO general manager and vice chairman of the board, yesterday said the winner correctly guessed the winning combination 09-13-40-42-14-33, which carried a jackpot of P10,387,166.

Robles added that Saturday’s draw also had 21 second prize winners, who guessed five of the six-digit winning combination. They will receive P24,000 each.

The Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law imposes a 20-percent tax on all lotto winnings above P10,000.
