Shabu, gun seized in Pampanga sting

SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, Philippines — Shabu with an estimated street value of P428,400 was seized in a sting that also resulted in the recovery of a firearm and arrest of a suspect in Mabalacat town in this province on Friday.

Pampanga police chief Col. Jay Dimaandal said the suspect, whose identity was withheld, yielded 63 grams of shabu, a .45-caliber pistol, ammunition and a car.

Police said charges of violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act, Firearms Regulation Act and Omnibus Election Code will be filed against the suspect.
