Valenzuela lotto bettor wins P19.4 million

MANILA, Philippines — A bettor in Valenzuela City won the P19.4-million jackpot in the Regular Lotto 6/42 drawn on Saturday night, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office said.

PCSO general manager Melquiades Robles said the winner hit the winning combination 09-38-23-12-32-29, which had a total prize of P19,489,253.90.

Twenty-nine bettors guessed five digits of the winning combination. They will receive P24,000 each.

The Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law imposes a 20-percent tax on lotto winnings above P10,000.
