COTABATO CITY, Philippines — Two people died while five others were injured when three vehicles fell into a ravine following a collision in Quezon town in Bukidnon on Monday.

Police said Mohammad Exan Bola, 53, of Marawi City, Lanao del Sur, and Jayser Bautil, 26, of Pantar, Lanao del Norte, were declared dead on arrival in a hospital.

Reports said a truck loaded with frozen fish developed engine trouble as it was traveling in Barangay Palacapao.

The truck hit a van and a motorcycle before all three vehicles fell into the cliff.

Witnesses said the vehicles rolled over several times before falling 50 meters down.

Bautil was a helper of truck driver Solaiman Moctar, 45, of Digos City, Davao del Sur.

Moctar, along with the driver of the van, and three others were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
