MANILA, Philippines —  One of the robbers who killed a security guard and stole P3.6 million in cash from a bank employee in Compostela town in Davao de Oro on Monday was arrested in Koronadal City, South Cotabato.

Police said suspect Johnlee Astrologo, 40, was apprehended by police officers during a pursuit in Barangay Zone 3 in Koronadal on Tuesday morning.

A witness picked Astrologo from a rogue’s gallery as one of the two suspects.

Although Astrologo did not identify his cohort, police said a manhunt is underway.

The suspects killed bank guard James Crucio, who was escorting a bank teller after collecting P3.6 million from a commercial establishment.
