Police recover vehicle of missing Taiwanese

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Police have traced the vehicle of missing Taiwanese businessman Kuo-Wen Hung, which was left unattended for weeks at the Santa Rosa north-bound toll plaza in Laguna.

Hung, a resident of Parañaque, was reported missing on Oct. 10, after he failed to return from a trip to Tagaytay City.

According to the Highway Patrol Group in Calabarzon, an SLEX patrol member spotted the red Volkswagen abandoned in Barangay Santa Cruz.

After a check with the Land Transportation Office in Quezon City, the car was found to be owned by the 47-year-old Hung.
