2 drug suspects nabbed in Pampanga
CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines — Two alleged major drug traffickers were arrested in a sting in Magalang, Pampanga yesterday.
Ralph Pineda, 31, and Aries Galang, 45, were collared after they allegedly sold an undetermined amount of shabu to undercover police officers in Barangay Sta. Lucia, according to Col. Jay Dimaandal, Pampanga police director.
The sting, which was conducted by members of the local police and agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency also resulted in the seizure of shabu with an estimated street value of P714,000.
Dimaandal said the suspects were allegedly behind the proliferation of shabu in Magalang and other areas in Pampanga.
Police said charges of illegal drug possession would be filed against the suspects who are being held at the Magalang police detention cell.
