MANILA, Philippines — The Land Transportation Office-National Capital Region (LTO-NCR) has collected P7.052 billion in revenue for the first nine months of 2024.
According to LTO-NCR financial management division chief Annabelle Quevedo, the revenue collection from January to September was 2.24 percent higher compared to the same period in 2023.
Quevedo said the LTO-NCR surpassed the same period’s revenue collection of P6.89 billion.
She said a large part of the revenue came from registration and licensing fees amounting to P6.3 billion and P691.2 million, respectively.
The Law Enforcement and Traffic Adjudication System contributed P68.3 million while the Motor Vehicle Inspection Center collected P12.8 million.
LTO-NCR Director Roque Verzosa III vowed to sustain the agency’s revenue growth in the last quarter of 2024.
“We acknowledge the efforts of all LTO employees who have contributed to our revenue growth. We will strive harder to sustain this for the remaining months of the year,” Verzosa said.
