International referees sa semis at finals ng PVL AFC

MANILA, Philippines — Huwag kayong magu­gulat kung may mga international referees sa semifi­nals at finals ng dara­ting na 2024-25 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Con­fe­rence.

Ito ang napagkasundu­an nina PVL president Ri­chard “Ricky” Palou at Phi­lippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) at Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) chief Ramon ‘Tats’ Su­zara.

Ito ay para hindi na ma­ulit ang nangyaring kon­trobersya sa 2024 Re­inforced Conference se­mifinals kung saan itinu­ring na unsuccessful ng mga opisyales ang net touch challenge ng PLDT Home Fibr na nagresulta sa panalo ng Akari.

“The PVNF will support PVL in the semifinals and fi­nals to bring international neutral referees nearby, so Hong Kong, Thailand for two or three weeks so that there is really a fair decision by the officiating referees,” wika ni Suzara.

Magkakaroon naman ang PVL ng isang technical workshop para maliwanagan ang mga coaches at pla­yers tungkol sa rules.

“Here, all the rules and re­gulations of the game will be better explained to everybody,” sabi ni Palou.

Opisyal na hahataw ang 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference sa Sabado sa Philsports Arena sa Pa­sig City.

Unang magtutuos ang Akari at Galeries Tower sa alas-4 ng hapon kasunod ang salpukan ng All-Filipino Conference finalist Choco Mucho at Petro Gazz sa alas-6:30 ng gabi.

Sisimulan ng Grand Slam champions at title-hol­der Creamline Cool Sma­shers ang pagdedepensa sa korona sa Nobyembre 16 kontra sa Gazz Angels sa Ynares Center.
