COTABATO CITY, Philippines — A 22-year-old woman died after she accidentaly touched a power cable while picking mangoes in Butuan City on Saturday.

Reports said Mary Joy Antibagos was using a stainless rod to pick mangoes in Barangay Libertad.

The tip of the rod reportedly hit the power cable, causing her to be electrocuted.

Responding police and members of the Bureau of Fire Protection tried in vain to resuscitate the victim.
