BAGUIO CITY, Philippines —Two high school students died while three others were injured in a vehicular accident in Tabuk, Kalinga on Monday.

Hazam Bawalan and John Raye Vasquez died while being treated in a hospital.

The victims’ classmate, Sheldon Balucnit, was taken to the Cagayan Valley Medical Center in Tuguegarao City for treatment of injuries.

Tricycle driver Francis Mag-aso and teacher Joyce Achawon were brought to a hospital in Tabuk.

Investigation showed the students were on a motorcycle when they crashed into the center island along Manuel Agyao Boulevard in Barangay Bulanao.

The impact landed the motorcycle on the opposite side of the road, hitting a tricycle being driven by Magaso with Achawon on board.
