CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines — Up to 4,000 police personnel have been deployed in cemeteries and public transport terminals in Central Luzon in preparation for Undas.

Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan, Central Luzon police director, said the officers would secure people visiting cemeteries and columbaria as well as travelers heading home for the holidays.

Maranan said he directed senior police officials to personally oversee security preparations for Undas.

Inspection of bus units and terminals will be conducted to ensure safety of travelers, Maranan said.
