MANILA, Philippines — The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has released the results of the Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) it conducted nationwide in August.
Of the 329,465 examinees, 14.4 percent or 47,449 passed the CSE-PPT, which included the professional and sub-professional levels.
For the professional level, 42,812 or 14.43 percent of 296,758 examinees passed the tests.
For the sub-professional level, the CSC recorded a passing rate of 14.18 percent or 4,637 of 32,707 examinees.
Results per region showed the National Capital Region obtained the highest passing rate with 18.96 percent, or 8,242 passers out of 43,478 examinees.
Central Luzon followed with a passing rate of 18.73 percent or 4,153 passers out of 22,178 test takers.
Southern Tagalog recorded a passing rate of 17.56 percent or 6,846 passers out of 38,978 examinees.
The full list of passers can be accessed at https://www.csc.gov.ph or through the CSC examination portal https://exam.csc.gov.ph.
No report of ratings will be mailed or emailed to examinees.
Passers and non-passers may obtain their individual test results using the CSC’s “Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System” at https://erpo.csc.gov.ph/ocsergs/ not later than Oct. 27.
The CSC said that claiming of certificates of eligibility for passers, which is printed on a CSC letterhead and issued free of charge, will start on Nov. 20 in regional or field offices of the CSC.
Passers have been advised to verify first if their certificates are ready for claiming before going to local CSC offices.
Passing the CSE is a requirement for anyone who wishes to enter the government career service.
