Puregold conducts outreach activity in Rizal school

MANILA, Philippines — Puregold Price Club Inc. has reinforced its commitment to inclusive growth and sustainable development through its social responsibility initiative, Pusong Panalo.

The multichannel retailer recently extended support to Laiban Elementary School in Tanay, Rizal, marking a pivotal step in Puregold’s ongoing mission to enhance lives and foster development in rural areas.

Puregold installed solar panels in the school to ensure a sustainable and reliable energy source that will benefit students and faculty members.

The project included the construction of a new playground and replenishment of the school canteen, which provided students with a more complete and enjoyable learning environment.

As part of its long-term vision, Puregold pledged to support 30 schools in remote areas by 2028. It is also planning to help four more schools this year.

The Laiban Elementary School nominated another school in Tanay to be given additional solar panels, a new learning center and improved comfort rooms.
