Bureau of Corrections Director General Gregorio Catapang Jr. said prisoners were escorted by 30 BuCor officers, with support from the police Special Weapons and Tactics and the South Luzon Expressway Patrol.

The group included 20 inmates from the NBP’s Reception and Diagnostic Center and 80 from the medium security camp.
