1 dead, 6 hurt in Quezon City brawl

MANILA, Philippines — A man was killed and six others were injured after two groups figured in a brawl in Quezon City on Sunday.

Krut Brian Viloria, 19, succumbed to stab wounds allegedly inflicted by Angelo Aton, of Barangay 174 in Camarin, Caloocan.

Police have launched a manhunt for Aton.

Viloria and Aton belong to two groups that figured in an altercation in front of a resort in Barangay Kaligayahan, probers said.

Authorities have yet to determine how the fight broke out between the groups.

During the brawl, Aton allegedly pulled out a bladed weapon and repeatedly stabbed Viloria.

Three of Viloria’s companions were injured.

Aton and 10 others escaped while six of their group members, three of whom were injured, are in police custody.
