MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court will join the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) in celebrating the first National Day of Charity on Oct. 30.
First and second-level courts nationwide will participate in the initiative to support the PCSO’s “Kawanggawa para sa Kapwa” project.
President Marcos on June 13 issued Proclamation 598, mandating the PCSO to lead the event.
“We are thrilled to have the backing of various government offices, particularly the high court, which has recognized the PCSO as the lead agency in this endeavor,” PCSO general manager Melquiades Robles said.
