MANILA, Philippines — Philippine National Police (PNP) public information office chief Col. Jean Fajardo was promoted yesterday to brigadier general, becoming a one-star general.
Fajardo, who is a lawyer, currently serves as the spokesperson for the PNP.
She graduated from the Philippine National Police Academy Class of 1996 and has a distinguished career in law enforcement.
Fajardo obtained her law degree at the Jose Rizal University. She passed the Bar exams in 2009.
Fajardo served as deputy director for operations at the PNP Drug Enforcement Group. She also headed the intelligence division of the Police Regional Office 3.
