MANILA, Philippines — Up to 200 people, including Chinese nationals, were rounded up during a raid on a Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO) hub in Pasay last night.
Law enforcement agencies, led by the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC), raided the POGO firm along J.W. Diokno Boulevard.
PAOCC Undersecretary Gilbert Cruz said among those arrested were “big bosses” of the POGO facility.
Operatives of the National Bureau of Investigation and the Pasay police were part of the raiding team.
